BRAD GERSTMAN, ESQ. CHOSEN TO JUDGE NATIONAL APPELLATE COURT COMPETITION

From beauty pageants to moot court, Brad is a judge with wide-ranging jurisdiction.

The American Bar Association Law Student Division National Appellate Advocacy Competition emphasizes the development of oral advocacy skills through a realistic experience.

Thirty-six student trial teams have worked over the last few months to prepare for the competition, and will face a panel of judges this weekend.

Competitors participate in a hypothetical appeal to the United States Supreme Court. The competition involves writing a brief as either respondent or petitioner and then arguing the case in front of the mock court.

Brad will serve as a judge for the National Appellate Court Competition, held at the US District Court in Brooklyn on Friday, March 7th from 4:30pm to 8:45pm.
